ADAPT is school-based mental health service that works to promote positive social, emotional, and behavioral skills.  ADAPT focuses on reducing negative feelings and behaviors by improving social skills such as coping skills, anger management skills, self-esteem, assertiveness skills, communication skills, relationship skills, along with many others.  These skills have the potetial to not only assist students in the present, but also to provide a brighter future.

  • Chris  Berg is the ADAPT staff for Grades pre-K through 4th grade. Located in room 233.
  • Matt Graves  is the staff for grades 4th and 5th, is here Tuesdays, Wednesday mornings, and Fridays in room 235.
  • Cindy Klaras is the staff for grades 6th-12th and is located in room 285.
  • Mesabi East also houses RMHC therapists Heather Roark who is servicing elementary students grade pre-K through 5th grade and Celin Manlove who is servicing students in 6th-12th grade. Both therapists are located in room 210.
